Ukraine Needs You Now More Than Ever

After more than three years of relentless conflict, the people of Ukraine continue to suffer daily under the weight of russian aggression.

​

In 2025, Moscow has escalated its brutal campaign by targeting civilians in their homes and Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Over 80% of the country’s thermal power plants and half of its hydroelectric stations have been destroyed. These attacks have devastated the supply of electricity, water, and gas — creating a humanitarian catastrophe and plunging millions into hardship and uncertainty.

The violence extends beyond infrastructure. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the World Health Organization has verified more than 2,400 attacks on Ukraine’s healthcare system. Hospitals, clinics and essential medical services have been bombed, making even basic care painfully out of reach for countless families.

 

But amid this darkness, Ukrainians remain unbroken.

They continue to stand strong — defending their homes, their children, their democracy and their right to a future. And they need our support more than ever.

Thanks to the generosity of the Australian community, the Ukraine Crisis Appeal has delivered life-saving help where it’s needed most:

​

• 1.2 million people provided with food and clothing in cooperation with Caritas Ukraine

• Over $29 million in medical and humanitarian aid delivered through our partnership with Rotary Donations in Kind, Rotary Gdynia and Rotary Club Ukraine Unity

• Emergency point of care medical training provided to doctors and medics

• 12,000 displaced Ukrainians housed in emergency shelters, with bedding provided to another 30,000

• Ongoing trauma counselling and rehabilitation programs established for children, adults, veterans, and their families
